DELIVERY, TERMS AND COMPANY INFORMATION Your delivery and credit card information is collected on our 100% secure server, which means that no-one can intercept your card details after you have typed them in. If you would like us to call you back please leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as we can. If your call is urgent please email info@koolsun.co.uk Payment processing Your credit/debit card will be processed when orders are placed. If for any reason we cannot supply the item we will contact you immediately. Please allow longer for cheque payments. We will reserve your goods as soon as your order is received but cannot despatch your order until your cheque has cleared. This usually takes 7 working days. Delivery and Charges We aim to despatch all orders received within 5 working days. All orders are sent by standard 2nd Class post unless requested otherwise. Free delivery on all £3.50 on all orders below £40. £5.95 on all orders containing a JacShade & Shelta UV Protector. This amount will not be added automatically. Should you forget to highlight this option manually as requested, £5.95 will be added to your payment card. Express Delivery – available on request before 12pm and charged at a cost of £5.95 Overseas Delivery – We are happy to deliver abroad. If the cost is greater than our standard delivery charges, carriage will be charged at cost. You can choose to receive your delivery at home, at work or at an address of your choice. Stock availability If we are out of stock of a particular item, we will always let you know immediately and give you an anticipated delivery date or the option to cancel your order. You will only be charged once for delivery. Returns Policy KoolSun tries to ensure that the products it sells to you are of good quality and value for money. If, however, your purchase does not meet this standard then we offer a 21 day return guarantee. You can return our product to us at anytime within 21 days from the date you received it provided that the product is unused and in resalable condition. Please note that the return guarantee does not affect your statutory rights. We cannot accept items which have been used or opened unless they are defective or incorrect (i.e. do not comply with your initial order). When returning any product to us under this guarantee you must specify the reason for the return and whether you require an exchange or a refund. This applies to all of our products, except suncreams and lotions which cannot be returned for exchange or refund unless a fault has been identified with the product upon arrival. If a product is returned by you because of an error on our part, then we will refund the reasonable delivery costs incurred by you in sending the product back to us. If you are returning a product, other than as a consequence of an error on our part, then we will only refund the cost of the product excluding any delivery charges incurred by us in sending the product originally or any costs incurred by you in returning it. If you are requesting an exchange of product, other than because of an error by us, then we reserve the right to charge you any additional delivery costs. We recommend that when returning items to us, you use recorded delivery or obtain a proof of posting from the post office. We will not be responsible for any products lost or damaged in the post. Privacy Statement KoolSun™ is committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent. We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us or from another trader in the future. ABOUT KOOLSUN: Who we are and how we started KoolSun was started in 1999 by Liz Gearing and Rachel Payne who met at a toddler group whilst pregnant with their third children and quickly became friends. Liz had spent many years living in Australia where the dangers of the sun have long been recognised and on her return to the UK was very dissatisfied with the availability and price of simple legionnaire style sun hats, let alone full sun protective suits. She became increasingly convinced of the need for a reasonably priced and readily available brand to be launched and Rachel, having lived in During 1999 Liz and Rachel visited Toddler and Mothers groups in the local area to sell their first small range of sun protective clothing. In the years that followed, KoolSun increased their range to include different fabrics and refined their designs to take into account feedback from parents. In January 2003 KoolSun produced their first colour brochure and their website followed shortly after. They now design, manufacture, wholesale and retail a range of 10 different designs and patterns and their brochure and website offer an ever increasing range of sun protective accessories. Liz and Rachel have six children between them. All the sun-creams, shoes, accessories and toys you see on this website have been tried and tested by their own children. If it doesn’t fit, doesn’t work, isn’t fun or just doesn’t pass the ‘KoolSun Kids’ test, it doesn’t get on the KoolSun website.
